I've never been to Canada before, what a pity, sounds like an interesting place from what you posted. Oh well, the little island I'm currently living on is Singapore. It is, literally, little. It won't take long to travel from one end of the country to the other end. Singapore is a multiracial society, mostly comprised of Chinese, followed by Malays, Indians and other minoraty races. It's a beautiful place, despite its supposedly urban setting. You can see greenary all most everywhere. And the city is knwon for its cleaness. I suppose Singapore has the same phenomenom as Canada. There are a lot of immegrants, mostly from mainland china. Increasingly we are seeing more of these people over the recent years. Of course there are people from many other countries joining Singapore too. It's like a big melting port of different culture and races and nationalities. x) Yea. Embrace diversity. Singapore was previously a British colony, so much of its legal and education system follow the British way. We take the GCE A and O levels at the end of out secondary school and junior college school years, and most proceed on to further our studies in the three local universities. [Only three universities.. limited choice.] Oh well, a significant number of people choose to abroad for their university years, especially when they've gotten hold of a scholarship. Good for them! x) If you ever visits Singapore, remember to walk through its streets and have a look at the life here, have a taste at the local food, apart from the usual tourist attractions.
