During the past few days I've noticed some disagreements on the board about someone looking for people to practice English with. Now I know you all have your opinions about various issues, and you are more than welcome to express them. However, please do try and be nice to each other on the board. And yes, this includes everyone. I would suggest that if you would like to post an ad seeking people to help you with your English, you do that politely as so not to offend people. On the other hand, if you are looking at ads, and you find that you do not like the way people have expressed themselves, or think that they are being rude, you can: 1. simply just ignore it. You have no obligation to chat with people that you don't like. or 2. if you feel that the post itself is offensive in nature, send me an email. I will look at it to see if it is in violation of the rules, and if so, carry out appropriate action. Of course, you can reply the post and offer suggestions on improvements etc, but try to be polite in your reply also. There is no need to start a fight on the board, I believe that we are all here to talk in English, not to fight. (If you want to do that, I believe there are other boards designed particularly for this purpose!) While I have posted this notice in response to a particular incident, I will not sanction anyone this time. Hopefully you would all appreciate that verbal fights are inappropriate, and that we can all carry on chatting nicely, and be nice to each other... ^^ Obiter --
