標題[emcs] 關於git-emacs.el

大家好，
這幾天想在emacs上面用git.
google到的方法是：
git clone github上面的git-emacs
實作之後可以執行部分git指令
像是 M-x git-status
但是像是 M-x git--symbolic-ref emacs就不認識
而我看git-emacs.el的source code
裡面確實有定義，
像這樣：

（749）(defun git--symbolic-ref (arg)
（略）
也有許多裡面定義的函數我沒辦法使用，
請問我是不是少做了什麼事？
