題目:Suppose that an economy is characterized by a consumption function of the form
C = c0 + c1 YD,
where c0 is autonomous consumption and c1, 0<c1<1, is the marginal propensity
to consume. Assume that government spending (G) is exogenous, and consider the
two following cases:
I. Net taxes (T) are exogenous, and investment is characterized by a function
of the form
I = i0 + i1 Y,
i.e. investment is endogenous, and increasing with income. Assume that 0< i1 < 1-c1.
II. Investment (I) is exogenous, and net taxes are characterized by the
function
T = t0 + t1 Y,
where 0< t1 <1 is the tax rate.
For both of the cases above:
i. What is the demand function and how is equilibrium income determined?
ii. What is the value of the multiplier, and how does it compare with that of
an economy with both exogenous investment and exogenous net taxes?
我的想法:
目前自己只對基本的y＝c+i+g+t有概念
但好像不夠應付這題
加上一堆代號的涵義都不太清楚
想請教版上的神人
