I went there for about a month and a half and it turned out that there was no one who would accept me there. Now I understand that this was set up on purpose and I am grateful. I definitely couldn’t have reached my present level if I continued with football. J:Nonetheless you remain a Spartak supporter? MS:I grew up there! My Mum worked in their tennis club. I worshipped Spartak in football, hockey and other sports. Even when I lived in Spain I managed to watch some Champions League games with Spartak. I was a really passionate supporter. Now, however, I am signed with Dinamo. J:So whom do you support in football now? MS: Spartak is still closer to my heart. (smiles) I am glad the team is being re-born. --
