標題[對話] DQ5美版對話錄-001 船艙內的南柯一夢

(Lord Papas不安地在王座前踱步，突然大臣來報)
大臣:
Lord Papas!! Lord Papas! Your wife has just given birth!
Papas:
What? So soon?!
(Papas急忙上樓)
侍女:
Congratulations, Lord Papas!
You’ve got yourself a beautiful baby boy!
Papas:
Such a strong voice. I can hear him crying from here!
Martha:
Oh, Dearest…
Papas:
What a beautiful child. Listen to him…
he already sounds like a little warrior!
Hmmm… let’s see… what should we name him?
Hmmmmm…(來回踱步思考)
I’ve got it! How about… Jonas! Lazarus? Samson?
Martha:
My! What wonderful names… perfect for a little warrior…
But actually… I’ve been thinking of a name as well…
What do you think about the name, MATHPIG…
Papas:
MATHPIG, eh… It doesn’t really have that zing to it, does it?
Still… it is kind of catchy… and how can I say no to you!(抱起小孩)
MATHPIG! From this day on, your name shall be MATHPIG!
Martha:
Oh, dearest… Uhh… *cough*…*cough*…
Papas:
Martha, what is it? Are you alright?! Talk to me!!
(隨著一陣嬰兒哭聲，畫面一黑之後，Papas及Mathpig就不見了，留下幾道痕跡)
(開頭音樂響起，流星飛過了城堡，DQ5的標題出現，而我們的冒險也將開始)
(音樂結束後，畫面位於船艙內，MATHPIG剛醒來)
Papas:
Ah, MATHPIG! It’s about time you finally woke up!
What? You had a dream? From when you were a baby?
And you were in some castle, you say?
Wa ha ha! Sleepy head!
Why don’t you take a little walk out in the fresh air, son.
It’ll help you wake you up!
