1. prove x^b = o(a^x).
that is, lim_{x->INF} x^b / a^x = 0, for a>1, b
(不要懷疑，原題最後就只寫一個b)
2. (a) given x_n+1 = 1 - sqrt(1-x_n) for every n is a positive integer,
does x_n converge? if so, give lim_{n->INF} x_n.
(b) does integral_{1}^{INF} ln(x)*sin^2(x)/(x^3+2) dx converge ?
3. (a) please explain "Mean Value Theorem".
(b) prove 1-a/b < ln(b/a) < b/a-1 , for 0<a<b.
4. 一輛列車在直線上以50m/s的速度直行，你在列車上
於時間t時從wifi AP(Access point)收到的訊號強度是-40dBm
此訊號當時以1.3dBm每秒的速度下降
已知訊號強度S與和AP的距離d之關係為 S(d) = -20-10log(d) dBm (d in meter)
求在時間t時，列車與AP的距離？
(這題我一直覺得怪怪的，看不太懂)
5. (a) 一個工程師在一份code上花的時間(T)和最後會產生的bug數量(b)的關係如下
dT/db = T / 2(b+3), T(10)=1
假設你很懶，所以只花了2個小時來寫作業
請問你的code會有多少bug? (即求T(2))
(b) y'' = 2yy', y'(0) = 1, y(0) = 0, find y
6. find the minimum of f(x,y,z) = yz + z^2
on the intersection of x^2+y^2+z^2 = 4 and y-x = 0
7. (a) is there exist any f with ▽f = (-y) i + (x) j ?
if so, give an example. if not, briefly explain why.
(b) show how to find the extreme value of z = x^2 + 3y^2
by steepest descent method(梯度下降法).
