Now Dodger Stadium's famed reputation as a pitchers' park is in jeopardy.
The field is currently undergoing a radical renovation that will considerably
reduce the amount of foul territory, which should dramatically alter a
balance of power that has favored the pitcher for the past 40 years. Data
from Baseball-Reference shows an average Batter Park Factor of 92 over
the past five seasons.
