2. 美國不支持「台灣獨立」
3. 美國認為以「台灣」加入聯合國，對台灣人在國際舞台上沒有實際利益。
4. 美國認為以「台灣」加入聯合國是挑釁的動作。
5. 美國反對「台灣入聯公投」
