The Cubs today acquired right-handed pitcher Kyle Hendricks and infielder
Christian Villanueva from the Texas Rangers for pitcher Ryan Dempster.
Earlier today, a deal was finalized to send catcher Geovany Soto and cash to
the Rangers for right-handed pitcher Jake Brigham and a player to be named or
a cash consideration.
