Cubs vs Yankees的世界大賽是世界末日 美國總統們選Red Sox or Yankees？ 我在回顧美國總統大選的所有辯論會時候，發現了這有趣的結尾。 [u][b]本文[/b][/u] 十月Fall Classic開賽前夕，MS NBC轉播九月26日在New England的New Hampshire州 Hanover市舉行的民主黨2008年美利堅聯邦總統大選候選人辯論會中，最後一個問題也是 由觀眾投稿的： [color=red]Red Sox[/color] or [color=pink]Yankees[/color]？ New Mexico州長Richardson是拉丁裔混血（母親墨西哥、父親尼加拉瓜），雖然不關他的 事還是提出有一點點種族關係的Manny Ramirez（Dominican）傷癒回來了：所以Red Sox 才可以奪得pennant，當然有Manny也可以奪得World Series title。 然後鋒頭轉向Hillary Clinton，芝加哥出身、代表New York州的聯邦參議員，前總統 Bill Cinton元配。但是Dennis Kucinich，代表Ohio的聯邦眾議員，插話說Indians 92勝 而且會奪得World Series title（Cleveland在Ohio）。Clinton回答之後代表Illinois的 參議員，Barrack Obama說他是Sox，but the wrong color＝White Sox all the way（原 來Obama支持小熊鄰居啊～）。 回到Clinton。首先，Hillary Clinton 回答她是Yanks fan許久。主持人Tim Russert顯 然知道Clinton是North Side出身，馬上問了她第二個問題： "Senator Clinton, what about a World Series, Yankees and Cubs?" 參議員裝的很嚴肅地回答： "Well, I worried about that, given the Cubs' record, it could very well be [color=red]a sign of a coming Apocalypse[/color]. It would be sooo out of history, if you have the Cubs against the Yankees. Then I would really be in trouble." 然後Russert追問：您支持哪隊？ 回："Well, I would probably need to [color=yellow]alternate sides.[/color]" Russert："Spoken like a true sports fan." ．．． ．．．． ．．．．． ．．．．．．XD 這幾個exchange讓我笑好久。 後來另外四位也少少地回答了。還有，從這八位民主黨將提名之候選人回答中，我們看得 出來誰真的有在看棒球。其實Obama在另一個影片中應對是否會在白宮接待Barry Bonds的 創紀錄，也提過他自己和Hank Aaron交談許久後，認為不能讓人民喪失對體育的熱情以及 希望："There's already enough [color=red]cynicism[/color] in politics, not needed in sports." XD If I 'm just voting for pure baseball comradeship, Hillary wins my vote. Kucinich comes second, Obama third, and Richardson comes fourth.
