Scores were between .01 and .40 mg/100 ml (mean BAC units: female 141 mg/100 ml, SD 99:9, male 135 mg/100 ml,SD 93:3). Participants were recruited from naturalistic settings, such as public licensed houses, coffee shops, and airport waiting areas. Persons who had been drinking were assessed between 11 am and 1 am (median time of testing being 9 pm).
