All that said, I don't think a trade of either Harris or Hinrich to the Lakers is very likely. Can one construct a scenario where a trade of either player to the Lakers could benefit Chicago or New Jersey financially? Absolutely. However, there are a number of other teams that could offer either Chicago or New Jersey the same opportunity and offer them what will amount to a higher draft pick.
