1. 10 pounds of water at a pressure of 20 psig is heated to a
temperature of 250度F. If the water is allowed to empty into
an open vessel at atmosphere pressure, how much of it will
remain in the liquid phase?
2. If water at 70度F is introduced into an evacuated vessel
where the original pressure is 0 psia,assuming that there is
no change in the temperature of water ,what will be the pressure
inside the vessel at equilibrium?
