Water gas shift(WGS) reaction is the critical reaction for producing
high grade hydrogen. Rencently gold on metal oxide nanoparticles have been
developed as a new catalyst for the WGS reaction..
(1)What is the overall reaction of WGS and what are the kinetic steps?
(2)Make the proper approximation and conduct the surface kinetic analysis for the
WGS reaction over Au/TiO2 catalyst
(3)What are the general design pinciples for a good catalyst system for
WGS reaction?
