標題有關substituent effect的疑問 不了解

原文書上寫
substituents can be classified into three groups
1. ortho- and para-directing activators:groups like -OH and -NH2 present on
a ring direct an electrophile E+ to ortho or para positions and they react
faster than benzene
2.ortho- and para-directing deactivators:....省略...they react slower than
benzene
3.meta-directing deactivators:....省略....they react slower than benzene
