In that first half-season he made two appearances for our men's first team, including in a 4-0 win at Aston Villa. Miazga then played at Vitesse where he helped the Arnhem club win the Dutch Cup for the first time. He later played in France at Nantes before returning to England for a spell in the Championship with Reading where as at Vitesse, his loan stretched into a second season.
