However, just before half time, Ed Brand would have been pleased as our pressure told with Castledine converting from the spot to give us a deserved lead after Silko Thomas was fouled in the penalty area. Tauriainen grabbed his second in as many starts after coming back from injury to all but secure the three points. Our boys managed the game well and always seemed in control as the home side could only muster one shot on target in the 90 minutes. The three points keep us in the race for the southern title, with many teams still in the hunt for the crown.
