The Dutch youngsters were runners-up to Manchester City in the group stage, losing just one of their six fixtures, before coming from behind to beat the Slovakian side FC Nitra 3-2 in the play-off round. We were winners of the competition in both 2015 and 2016, though were unable to participate last season due to the first team's absence from the UEFA Champions League. However, our return under manager Joe Edwards has been impressive, with only Barcelona accumulating more points in the group stage. The altered format this campaign meant that the last-16 draw was unseeded and without country protection.
