Taiwo has yet to make a senior appearance for Chelsea, having previously come through the Leeds United academy. He could make his Vale debut against Bournemouth on Saturday and manager Lee Sinnott is happy to have brought in the midfielder. "He is a central midfielder who can play the holding role and he can also play at right-back and I saw that during my time at the (Leeds) academy," Sinnott told the club's official website. "It is adding a body to the squad. Tom is not only with a Premier League club, but one of the big four, and you don't get to be with a club like Chelsea unless there is something about you. "There was other interest in him and we were aware of that.
