The teenager spent most of the last campaign at Loftus Road and made 30 appearances for John Gregory's side. He has yet to feature for the Chelsea first team and has been allowed to rejoin The R's to gain further experience. Gregory is confident that the 19-year-old can have an even greater impact during his second season with the Championship club. "We're extremely pleased that we have the opportunity of having Michael Mancienne in our squad for the whole of next season," the R's manager told the club's official website. "He had an outstanding period with us last season and I would like to pay a special debt of gratitude to Chelsea Football Club for allowing Michael to continue his footballing education with us.
