Monday lunchtime's draw paired the weekend conquerors of Charlton against Chelsea for the first time in this competition in seven years. That was the last time the two clubs met. The 2000 fourth round tie was won 2-0 by the Blues on the way to lifting the trophy. Goals came from Frank Leboeuf and Dennis Wise. The one previous FA Cup meeting was in 1934, won by Chelsea after a replay. Tom Priestley scored in a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge, Hughie Gallacher netting twice and George Gibson once in the second game which ended 3-0. The tie will be played on the weekend of Saturday 27/Sunday 28 January.
