The 20-year-old, born in Portugal but raised in London, becomes Lions boss Nigel Spackman's fourth signing since his appointment last month. Morais spent four years on the books at Stamford Bridge, but did not appear for Chelsea's first team. However, he does have experience at League One level, after making 13 appearances in a loan spell at Milton Keynes Dons earlier this year.
