Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart tied for first place in voting for best
rookie defender in the league's annual Rookie Survey.
Smart 在今年新秀們評選的
“新秀最佳防守獎”中名列並列第一。
Smart tied with Philadelphia's K.J. McDaniels while earning 13.5 percent of
the vote among the 38 first-year players surveyed Sunday at the rookie photo
shoot in Tarrytown, N.Y.
上個週末，
38位新秀們在紐約的Tarry town拍宣傳照的時候進行投票，
Smart 和費城的 K.J. McDaniels 各獲得13.5%的選票。
Smart was voted second funniest (behind only Twitter darling Joel Embiid) and
third best playmaker (behind Phoenix's Tyler Ennis and San Antonio's Kyle
Anderson). Smart also received votes -- but did not finish in top 6 -- in a
question asking who would win Rookie of the Year.
在最佳進攻組織者評比中獲得第三
（第一第二分別是太陽的 Ennis 和馬刺的 Andersen）。
Smart 同時還有新秀心目中的年度最佳新人選票 不過名列六名後。
James Young, Boston's other first-round pick, tied for fifth place in voting
for "most overlooked" rookie.
波士頓的另一位新人 James Young ，
在最被忽視的新秀投票中獲得併列第五。
