Asked point-blank whether the problems of late - bad losses
to Charlotte and New York - are more the fault of the players or the coach,
Ainge said, “I think it’s the players.”
But he quickly added that the culpability is not theirs alone.
“I think the players need to step up and play the way they know they can,”
Ainge continued. “But I think I need to do a better job, too.
I think everybody needs to figure out a way to do better.
We all need to do what we can to get us playing better.
“I believe in each one of the individual guys on this team,
but at the same time, a lot of the guys are not playing up to their
capabilities
