"Tony's been struggling," Rivers said. "I think that's more
my fault. Putting Tony Allen on Reggie Miller - a rookie on
a hundred-year veteran - is difficult. Reggie was scoring so
much, I just think every time he scored he took Tony's
confidence away. It's tough when you've been a defender your
whole life, you're a rookie, you're guarding a great offensive
player and the guy keeps scoring on you. There were times when
Tony was playing good defense." . . .
