Wine and Gold Scrimmage就是這兩三年來都有的分邊對抗賽，開放給觀眾 入場。今年對抗賽兩邊都沒有控球後衛，Mo的「該逼」有點拉傷，休息一 兩天就好，West則受到球團保護不讓他曝光，但仍有在訓練中心作例行練球 。所以雙方主戰後場是Parker、小吉、Danny Green、Coby Karl。這次Gold 隊由大歐領軍，隊員有Parker、Moon、J.J. Hickson、小吉、Green等。LBJ 率領Wine隊，手下包括大Z、Varejao、D. Jackson等人。 最後比數Gold隊以54:38獲勝，大歐在騎士球迷眼前首度公開上陣，上場18 分鐘投8中6攻下12分，其中有十呎跳投也有勾射。大歐在禁區附近任何他喜 歡的點下球單打，對手完全推不走他，設置檔拆時即便身體沒有完全擺出來 ，但因為實在太大隻，防守球員要多花一兩秒繞過他，效果也很好。LBJ今 天投籃手感差，作了幾個無謂的後仰跳投，幾次進入低位單打Moon則收到良 好效果。Moon跟Rob Kurz兩位前鋒都展現遠距投射的本事，Kurz搶到球隊名 額的機率稍高於Jawad Williams。 Moon得到9分5籃板3抄截2阻攻，新人Danny有個不錯的第三節，共得10分。 Parker平常練習時多半埋伏在底線附近跳投，今天的手感不佳，但防守觀念 卓越，在場上指揮隊友佈陣。球團還沒明定West的歸期，所以Parker極可能 擔綱球隊開季首發SG。如果West的情況急速惡化，騎士傾向尋找Antonio Daniels或Marko Jaric來助陣，當然，這只是最壞假設。 It was exciting to see J.J. Hickson fully healed from his back problems that sidelined him for more than three months last season , including all of the playoffs. The 21-year-old from North Carolina State was a force on the boards, and had some nice moves inside. The Cavs need a fourth big man to fit in with Anderson Varejao, Ilgauskas and O'Neal. Hickson's youth, quickness and leaping ability also is a change of pace from what the other big men offer. Last season this became an issue in the playoffs against the Orlando Magic when Hedo Turkoglu and Dwight Howard ran them repeatedly. In the scrimmage on those plays the Cavs were forcing the screen setter toward the baseline, which is an option they didn't use much last season. If executed properly it can make it harder to execute the play. It was clear this has been a point of emphasis in practice.
