GhibliWorld.com has learned that the English-language version of Hayao
Miyazaki's Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea will be produced by Frank Marshall
and Kathleen Kennedy. It will feature a voice cast including Matt Damon, Tina
Fey, Cate Blanchett, Liam Neeson, Lily Tomlin, Betty White, Fankie Jonas,
Noah Cyrys and Cloris Leachman.
The animated adventure centers on a 5-year-old boy and his relationship with
a goldfish princess who longs to become human.
The movie is expected to come to North American theaters in 2009.
