Mirko Vucinic's knee injury is worse than at first thought,
so the Lecce striker will miss out on the World Cup.
Vucinic膝傷嚴重，確定錯過世界盃。
The 22-year-old suffered the ligament problem in his left knee
during this week's European Under-21 Championship clash with Germany.
他在本週Ｕ21歐洲盃對德國的比賽中傷到左膝。
He was named in both the squad for that tournament and
the Serbia and Montenegro party travelling to Germany
for this summer's World Cup.
他也同時入選了塞黑出戰德國世界盃的大名單。
“We will name a replacement in the next few days,”
explained Coach Ilija Petkovic. “We'll call up a player we need,
as we have five fit strikers at the moment.”
賽黑主教練 Petkovic說：「我們未來幾天將找人填補他的空缺，
我們會徵召隊上需要的球員，因為目前隊上已有五名狀態不錯的前鋒。」
It's a heavy blow for Vucinic, who was hoping a good performance
in the competition would boost his international profile.
The Lecce hitman is nonetheless still on track to join Roma,
although there is also interest from other clubs.

Vucinic excelled last season with 19 top flight goals for the Salentini,
but couldn't prevent their relegation this term with just nine in 34 games.
