Serie A Team Of The Week: Round 37 08/05/2006 08:17 This week our trident will consist of Corradi, Amoruso and Pozzi in a 3-4-3 formation. Benussi (Lecce): Good goaltending. Aided in giving his team a point. ＃Special mention: Squizzi, De Sanctis. Oddo (Lazio): A spectacular defensive display. As always consistent and shows up to play. Wants out of Lazio and Milan will probably be his destination. He will do just fine there. Lanna (Chievo): Had a good game. One of the best defenders in the team. Is not rough and positions him self well. Balleri (Livorno): An impressive display today. Talented player. His performance aided Livorno in gaining a point. One so desperately needed. Donadoni is missed. ＃Special mention: Pisano, Cafu. Seedorf (Milan): Fine runs. Scored a nice goal. Superb with the ball. Too bad he is being kept out of the Dutch squad as he can tear apart defenses. Tommasi (Roma): The veteran and other symbol; plus the man who was also injured and out for a year showing loyalty to his team in requesting no payment played well today. Broke the deadlock to score a goal to fight for the CL till the very end. Too bad Reggina could not have pulled off a Palermo. Nedved (Juventus): A brilliant performance. Saving the best for last. Will be a threat in Germany, but has a temper. When he plays he does it ever so well. Too bad he forgot to do it in Europe. Oh yes. A great individual effort to produce a goal. Icing on the cake. Fiore (Fiorentina): Superb display. A new team was what the doctor ordered. May not go to Germany, but if he does he will do well. Great at the runs and a versatile player. Has aided Toni immensely this year. A goal on his list is a good thing too. ＃Special mention: Floccari, Boumsong Pozzi (Empoli): Fine brace to give his team three valuable points. Corradi (Parma): Had a good game and made Milan sweat. A brace, but in the end fell short. Still, a nice performance. Amoruso (Reggina): The veteran still keeps on scoring. His goal aided in victory last week, but this week his goals salvaged pride.
