The decision comes following Sunday's 0-0 stalemate with Cagliari, as Treviso president Ettore Setten revealed that an official statement will be made on Monday. Treviso, who finished last season fifth in Serie B, were awarded a place in the top flight after three clubs above them in the table became heavily embroiled in both match-fixing and financial scandals. Sunday's draw leaves Treviso in 18th place, having taken six points from 11 matches. "I've sacked Rossi," Treviso president Ettore Setten told Italian news agency ANSA.
