one and the other 各為一，
Ex: I have two sisters. One lives in Taipei and the other lives in Tainan.
one and the others 一和其他，
Ex: There are a few cars parking outside. One is mine and the others are the
neighbor's.
II. Wearing v.s in/with
She was wearing a white earring 所表示的是"正戴著"耳環
如果要用介系詞來寫這句，應該是類似以下：
She was surprised to find one of her ears was with a white earring on and the
other with a gray one.
