國民隊也在第六局棒打小熊投手Garza給王葛葛火力支援. 帥哥Morse在此局打出超前分，
在1好3壞球數下打了一隻中外野全壘打牆外的陽春炮(本季第20隻)。
接下來Werth安打，Gomes瞄準第一球擊出左外野2分炮(本季第13隻)讓國民隊取得3分領先。
