I had been watching A, AA, and MLB for more than 10 times in the U.S. according this experience, I have reason to believe that CPBL is more or less equivalent to AA. But people always argue the point some taiwanese players, even though their team is only A class or below, really outbeat those players who play in the CPBL in any respect. I totally agree with this point. But remember, most taiwanese players is the "hot babe" for those franchise who admire their ability to be a MLB star like what Wang did last year, paying the unaccountable amount of signing bonous and taking them to the other end of the pacific ocean. so, don't be surprise that they are so good because they already good enough or those teams would not sign them. so why those teams are so stupid, putting them in such a team that is not corrosponding to their ability? I can't actually answer the part. the reasonable response is that the teams think they are immature. in the long term speaking, it probably is a better method to train a baseball player to be a future star. to sum up, Hu, Chin-Lung is good, a prospect, an invaluable property for the Dodgers. what does matter is how good he can be!! a baseball team is composed of more than 20 guys no matter in waht side of the pacific ocean, so, besides the propects, there are other players who are not as good as them but the game needs them. I had been playing baseball 5 on 5 for a long time when I was a kid in the tiny alley by using our special rule, but do you thnk AA will play this way, letting 5 prospects play with another 5 prospects and call it a baseball game? no, i don't think so. so here is the point. how good is those roster fillers? according to my exeprience, I would say roster fillers (AA) are more or less equivalent to CPBL's lineup of each team. They made stuid mistakes like CPBL player, they never become a MLB star like CPBL player and they know their situation. so, the conclusion is : i believe CPBL champion team can compete with a regular AA team with less than 5 prospect, called MLB material. Any team in CPBL can defeat A in any kind of series gaming. when i hear people say CPBL's lineup player is worse than regualr A players, I just think, without disrepect, you guys have no ideas what you are talking about. --
