Randolph is in the final year of a contract that will pay him $1.8 million this season. He averaged 20.1 points and 10.5 rebounds last year and won the NBA's most improved player award. But character issues have haunted the former Michigan State star, and criminal charges might be considered against him for a recent incident at a nightclub in Anderson, Ind. Witnesses say Randolph's brother, Roger, fired several shots into a crowd at the club while Randolph tried to restrain him. A Bucks spokesman said the team had a policy not to respond to any trade rumors. Portland general manager John Nash, reached Tuesday at his office, said, "We don't discuss trade talks." 這篇的重點在最後一段,意思是公鹿已經有對任何不真實的交易謠言做出不回應的政策, 而拓荒者的總理也說雙方並沒有談過這樁交易案~~ 所以我想這篇謠言的可能性很低,當然雙方(包括球迷)也都不希望它成真, 對公鹿來講,Redd和Mason已經是隊中的主力, 尤其是Redd上一季的優異表現,已經顯現出他全明星的身價了! 而跳跳人Mason的爆發力及彈性也是絕無僅有, 我相信公鹿高層不太可能把Redd和Mason當作交易籌碼交易出去, 這樣對一個正處於磨合階段的球隊來講傷害很大, 倒不如好好地培養Redd Mason甚至是Haslip這些年輕球員, 讓他們能夠繼續在公鹿隊發光發熱~~ --
