Furcal - You can easily tell when he's not on his game when he pops to the air too often. A quality high fastball usually rewards you easy pop-up from this slap hitter. Stay away from his knee-high inside corner! Giles - He can pull your fastball inside, he drives any pitch at the outside corner with power, and he will blow away your high pitch. Use your best effort to get the ground ball. Chipper- Blow your heater right by him when the weather is allowed (April). Otherwise, jam him with chest high fastball in on his hand. Don't try to fool him with your breaking ball on the outside corner. Drew - Same as above, jam him with inside fastball or slider near the body. But he turns the ball so well when you miss the location. Plus, he can beat you with a weak grounder by his feet. Andruw - Your ace pitch is a slider, and that says every- thing. You can also throw a plus fastball above the belt to get a strike because he swing it every time. Just like a tossup, sometimes you have to find the ball behind the wall if you are not lucky enough. Estrada- You can't expect to fan a guy with such a short and compact swing. Try to throw with your left hand if you can and better if you have a big sweeping curveball that starts from the shoulder and ends on the dirt. Remember Ben Sheets? Green - Everyone knows he beat your breaking pitch easily after consecutive night of homer. He chases the ball off the home plate sometime, but you can not rely on that too often. More at-bats needed to know what really gets him. Wise - Don't throw your fastball for strike, especially for a man that swing at everything. Hessman- Throw your best pitch and pray, though, more often then not, he tips the cap and sit back to the bench. Julio - Old Julio had told you so many times, let me repeat it again, don't try to measure the length of his bat by throwing more inches away from the outside corner. DeRo - You beat a guy in slump for no reason!!! Garcia - It's never too late to bait him with a breaking ball, but as you might know, he likes the feeling of first pitch swing. Eli - Please show up more frequently, it's hard to criticize anyone while you even don't remember the time he's on the plate. LaRoche- He had a hard to drive the inside pitch, besides that, he's doing everything with calm and confident.
