By Daniel Edwards Sep 2, 2010 8:33:00 PM Brazil coach Mano Menezes has received the plaudits of several members of the Selecao, who praised their new tecnico as they arrived at a training camp in Barcelona today. Ex-Corinthians boss Menezes has made an instant impact with the Brazilian public and football community - not least for handing a debut to youngsters Ganso and Neymar and committing to attacking football in his first match against the United States. And as the Canarinha squad started to arrive into Barcelona, the players had kind words for Mano and his style of coaching. "Mano talked with us a lot in the United States. He is a straightforward, sincere and direct guy, who makes his objectives and goals very clear," affirmed Benfica defender David Luiz, who also made his debut with Menezes in the U.S.A. Liverpool midfielder Lucas also praised the coach, whom he has known since his first days in football at Gremio. "Mano hasn't changed at all, he is still exactly the same person. He is a coach who is very open with the players, he likes to listen to what you have to say. That is a great benefit for the team," the 23-year-old opined. Fenerbahce defender Andre Santos, who knows the coach better than most having been under his command at Corinthians for two years, finished by detailing that it was a pleasure to work under him. "I already know Mano pretty well, and I also know how all the technical team operates. It is amazing to work with him."
