The versatile midfielder and attacker has finally submitted necessary paperwork to the Bremen offices, and should be able to make his debut against Bayern Munich following the upcoming international break. "It was an aggravating delay because it was solely a formality," said manager Klaus Allofs, who confirmed that "the transfer was never endangered at any time". Wesley himself told reporters of his eagerness to play in his new club's next competitive match. "The fact that the next match is against FC Bayern of course is especially interesting. The meaning of this game is also known in Brazil," the player told Bremen's official website. "I have worked hard in training so that I can play in this game. It would be fantastic if I even have my first appearance there." Wesley, 23, moved to Bremen on August 20 for an estimated €7.5 million.
