CLASH bassist PAUL SIMONON agreed to join DAMON ALBARN's new band THE GOOD,
THE BAD AND THE QUEEN after falling for the BLUR frontman's bassline.
Albarn formed the supergroup - which will include THE VERVE's SIMON TONG and
TONY ALLEN from FELA KUTI's band - last month (JUL06). Simonon explains,
"I could hear a bassline for it immediately and from that we started a whole
new record."
