標題[問題] 葉黃素單位

各位大大，我看了一些關於葉黃素的 paper，總共出現四種單位
(1) mg: 100 g (不知道怎麼跟 mg L-1 換算)
(2) 20 mg l-1 culture (culture 不知道是甚麼意思)
(3) 4 mg g-1 dry weight
(4) 0.53% d. wt (不知道用%好，還是 mg 好)
我的問題是這些單位的代表意義我不確定，所以不知道要怎麼換算之後可以比較
還希望這個版上有人可以幫忙解說一下
我把原文附在下面，(因為 -1次方無法顯示，只能用-1代替)

Lutein and lutein ester content in different types of Tagetes patula
and T. erecta
Abstract
Relevant quantitative differences were found among the marigold types
which had a total content of pigments ranging from 17 to 570 mg:100 g
in the petals and from 0.4 to 18.6 mg:100g in the calyces.
單位是 (mg:100 g)

Accumulation of astaxanthin and lutein in Chlorella zofingiensis
(Chlorophyta)
Abstract
Lutein, in a free (unesterified) form, was the prevalent carotenoid
during early stages of cultivation (over 0.3 pg cell-1, equal to
4 mg g-1 dry weight,or 20 mg l-1 culture), whereas esterified
astaxanthin accumulated progressively, to reach a maximum
(over 0.1 pg cell-1, equal to 1.5 mg g-1 dry weight,
or 15 mg l-1 culture) in the late stationary phase.
單位是 (4 mg g-1 dry weight, 20 mg l-1 culture)

lutein content of the new strain Scenedesmus almeriensis
Introduction
However, the most remarkable characteristic of S. almeriensis is its
high lutein content of 0.53% d. wt., that has eventually been found to
increase above 1.0% d. wt. under outdoor culture conditions.
