The conference provides an opportunity for attendants to exchange views on scientific knowledge and become versed in current topics lead by prominent scientists of various fields. In addition, communications at the AYRCOB will promote future international collaborations between young researchers. While AYRCOB has primarily focused on Asian researchers, we sincere invite young researchers around the globe who are interested in the topics of computational and systems biology. Based on this purpose, the AYRCOB now is composed of 6 organizing countries (Australia, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, Korea). Furthermore, the 6th Asian Young Researchers Conference on Computational and Omics Biology (AYRCOB) will be held on December, 20-21, 2012 at BGI, Shenzhen, China. The 6th AYRCOB is in collaboration with ISCB-ASIA/SCCG 2012 held on Dec. 17-19. Registration for AYRCOB is free as usual. In addition, AYRCOB supports travel fellowships for young researchers selected among applicants of the ‘Call for Abstract’.
