Main Street Baseball, the owners of the new franchise, announced the team’s nam
e on Monday.

A total of nine finalists for the new team’s name were being voted on. The othe
r names included the Bombers, the Harvesters, the Cherry Bombers, the Monster Tr
ucks, the Road Hogs, the Golden Goats, the 99ers, and the Graffiti.
新球隊名稱共有九個入圍候選名供投票選擇，其他名稱包括「轟炸機隊」、「收割者隊」、
「櫻桃炸彈隊」、「怪物卡車隊」、「路霸隊」、「金山羊隊」、「99人隊」以及「塗鴉隊
」。
The games will be played at John Thurman Field, which was vacated by the Modesto
Nuts after nearly 80 years.

The lease between the city and Main Street Modesto LLC is five years, slated to
begin Oct. 1 and continuing through Sept. 30, 2030, with a three-year extension.
Per the lease agreement, the tenant (Main Street Modesto LLC) will pay $120,000
per year in rent with a 4% annual rent increase.

The Pioneer League team’s rent is more than what the Seattle Mariners paid for
the Nuts in 2024 ($75,000) but less than the Mariners paid in 2025 after the cit
y increased the rent to $600,000.
