以前聽過音樂了 卻一直沒有機會看... 這是一時寫下的心得 (第一次在這裡po文) 或許我看見的有點淺 還請大家看看吧! So many thoughts in mind after I watched this..줊 Human always have doubts toward their belief, they are afraid of cannot fit in other掇 world. Maybe we are all like Quasimodo, looking ugly outside but full of emotions and feeling inside, sometimes even more than others. Furthermore, we give so much to people but have nothing, nothing in return. Just like what Quasimodo to Esmeralda. Actually, Quasimodo doesn't ask for more, all he asks for are simply to live, to love, to be treated like a normal person. In fact, I found out that Quasimodo and Esmeralda have some things in common through their duet. They are both deep in loneliness. They stand out from the society because they are too different. That掇 why they get special treatment from the public, Quasimodo being discriminated and Esmeralda being accused of seducing everyman. I was deeply touched by the scene which Esmeralda takes water to Quasimodo. He feels thirsty not only because his body, but also his soul. Unlike Quasimodo, the captain Phoebus is the representative of humanity. He is greedy toward power, toward relationships. He has doubts between Esmeralda and his fianc偾, Fleur-de-Lys. Isn't this all people are often being troubling about? From my view, Phoebus is searching for his ideality. Although he already gets what others have been longing for, a pretty fianc偾 and successful career, yet he is not satisfied by them. He loves Esmeralda because of her wildness, passion and uncertainty. She fulfills his fantasy of excitement in life. More than captain Phoebus, father Frollo also be caught by Esmeralda's exotic acts. I believe he is never a religious Catholic because he only oppresses his desire. When he meets Esmeralda, his long hiding desire, even lust, is lit by her. He is the fake side of men. At the beginning, he seems like the strict law which rules the society, yet he collapse so bad on Esmeralda. I love the musical so much not only because the music and dance, but the depiction of each side humanity.
