Blazers guard Brandon Roy will be sitting out the game to nurse a right hamstring injury. “Unfortunately, I'm not where I was hoping I would be physically at this point,” said Roy. “It's a setback and I'm obviously disappointed, but my entire focus is getting back on the court, contributing and helping our team down the stretch.” Before All-Star reserves were announced Chris Kaman made waves by saying Laker big men Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum were not worthy of being All-Stars. "I don't think Gasol should be in it at all,'' Kaman said "He's only played like 20 games this year. I think there should be a number of games you should play. I think you should have to play like 80 percent of the games." I wholeheartedly agree with Kaman. "I think I'm more deserving than Andrew Bynum,'' said Kaman. "I'd be disappointed if they put Pau Gasol in front of me. If they put Bynum ahead of me, it would be disappointing but it would be easier to accept.'' Well Chris, they put Gasol ahead of you and now he's your All-Star teammate. All-Star Weekend should be loads of fun. Kaman is the best center in the West and is more than deserving to play in the All-Star Game. Kaman averages 20.2 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.4 blocks a game. David Stern made the correct call in replacing Roy with Kaman. This will be Kaman's first All-Star Game appearance.
