A $7.6 million qualifying offer has been set for the 2010-11 campaign. It is expected that the Blazers will eventually sign Aldridge to a multi-year contract extension, but not at the maximum amount such as Portland guard Brandon Roy recently received — a five-year deal reported to be worth more than $80 million.
