MRI confirms Roy aggravated ankle strain
The Trail Blazers announced that results of Brandon Roy's MRI Sunday evening
showed he aggravated a right ankle sprain.
Roy left in the third quarter of Sunday's 112-102 loss to the Boston
Celtics. The Blazers' All-Star guard finished with nine points, one rebound,
one assist and three steals in just under 26 minutes of play.
The ankle was injured during the Feb. 13 game against the Dallas Mavericks.
Roy is listed as day-to-day.
