NBA: Small forward
to work out for Blazers Free agent small forward Dijon Thompson reported to
the Trail Blazers' practice facility Wednesday. He is expected to work out
for the team today and Friday.
Last season for the Phoenix Suns, Thompson, 6-foot-7, played in 10 games,
averaging 2.8 points and 1.1 rebounds in 4.3 minutes. He also played in four
games for the Albuquerque Thunderbirds of the NBA Development League in which
he averaged 13.8 points and 6.8 rebounds in 35.8 minutes
