Quick's take:"I think it was a slap in (Cheeks') face only giving Darius Miles two games. I think the coach wanted to give him 10 games. John Nash wanted to give him zero games. I just think it's ridiculous the way the upper management has poo-poo'd this incident." Clip 2 - In your opinion, is the team playing like it's waiting for Mo Cheeks to be fired? Quick's take:"No, I don't think so. I think there are really only two people who have a problem with the way things are going right now, and that's Darius Miles and Zach Randolph." Clip 3 - So have Cheeks and Miles buried the hatchet, or could this problem flare up again? Quick's take:"I don't think they have mended their differences in any way, shape or form. I think it was the potential to erupt again. As one player told me, 'I don't know if you can keep Zach and Darius together on this team in the future.'" Clip 4 - Can Zach re-invent his game to be a better passer and all-around player? Quick's take:"It's a little bit of a shock to him, I think, that all of the sudden he's kind of faded out of the spotlight of this team. I think he's trying right now and I think he understands..." Clip 5 - Any word on the trade front? Quick's take:"It appears that Nick Van Exel has been drawing some interest around the league. It looks like five teams are going to make a push for him. I heard one agent say that (Dallas's) Jason Terry and maybe a younger guy would be a good fit..." Clip 6 - What's the latest on Blazer draftee Sergei Monya, who currently plays for CSKA Moscow? Quick's take:"It sounds like the Blazers might go ahead and try to sign Sergei Monya this year and get him over here." Clip 7 - Is Viktor Khryapa risking further injury by returning to action ahead of schedule? Quick's take:"He was going 100% (in practice) and the team said 'Gosh, if he has a couple more practices, we should bring the doctor in here and have an exam and see if he'll clear him to play.' Sure enough..." Clip 8 - Can this team still put together some kind of playoff run? Quick's take:"February is the time for this team to make their move. Going into March 1st, I think they ned to be at least within four (games of the 8th playoff spot)." Clip 9 - Will the starting lineup change anytime soon? What about the style of play? Quick's take:"It think (Cheeks) will stick with this for a while until something tells him otherwise." Clip 10 - What's the latest on Shareef Abdur-Rahim's recovery? Quick's take:"John Nash the other day said that Shareef is progressing along rapidly and it looks like he might be able to come back for that February trip. But I talked to Shareef last night and he said 'I don't know where you got that.' His doctor said another four weeks (from last week)." --
