標題[新聞] Astros invite RHP Graves, five others to spring training

HOUSTON (TICKER) —The Houston Astros signed righthander Danny Graves and four
other players to minor league contracts Wednesday.
A former closer with the Cincinnati Reds, Graves spent last season in the minor
league system of the Minnesota Twins. He is 43-44 with 182 saves and a 4.05 ERA
in 518 career appearances with Cleveland, Cincinnati and the New York Mets.
Houston also signed 33-year old catcher Toby Hall. In 41 games with the White
Sox last season, Hall hit .260 with two home runs and seven RBI.
In addition, righthanders Jose Capellan and Chad Paronto and catcher Brian
Esposito signed minor league contracts and will take part in spring training
with the Astros. Houston also invited righthander Sergio Perez to spring
training.
