The fact in college he was a position player and a pitcher, I think it's one of those projects where you like his body, you like his arm and you like the progress he's making. I think this year will be a big year for him." Felipe Paulino, rhp: "He's a big, strong kid with a live arm, and for a big kid he's very smooth on the mound. He doesn't have a violent delivery, so I think his command will be there because of his delivery. I really think he could be one of the sleepers for us this year. I think he will pitch in the big leagues this year at some point in time. It's hard for me to predict when it will be." Brad James, rhp: "I really like his arm. He has a real live sinker. He had a foot injury and (Tuesday) he was a little erratic because he hasn't been on the mound that much because of a broken foot. He obviously is one of the kids we're looking for as the future of the organization. He and (Bud) Norris and Paulino, those guys have exceptional arms and exceptional stuff, so I think it's just them getting consistent and getting some innings." Ryan Houston, rhp: "He's been in the Toronto organization and (this week) is my first time to see him, and I like what I saw. He's obviously going to go to camp and compete for a job and we'll see what happens. But he'll obviously be one of the guys in the mix." Chris Sampson, rhp: "I think Chris is such a competitor and has such good control, he'll have a role on this ballclub, whether in the starting rotation or they use him in long relief. It just depends on how things go in spring training. He's definitely one of the guys we're counting on, and he can accumulate innings for us, too, if he is in the starting rotation."
